Peer to Peer Support

Need Help Managing and Understanding Your Student Loan Debt?

Connect with us to schedule a free Borrower Peer Support Session, made possible through our partnership with The Institute of Student Loan Advisors (TISLA). At the Student Loan Fund (SLF), we’re committed to empowering Connecticut borrowers by connecting them to free, reliable, expert resources.

How It Works:

  1. Peer-to-Peer Support: In a 45-minute session, SLF helps you learn how to find and understand key information relevant to your federal student debt. We guide you through navigating the Federal Student Aid and servicer websites and utilizing tools like the PSLF Help Tool and Income-Driven Repayment application. Our goal is to ensure you understand your student loans and can confidently explore repayment options that suit your needs.

  2. Expert Guidance with TISLA: During your session with SLF, we’ll work together to craft targeted questions that address your specific concerns. Together, we will email your questions to TISLA experts, who will provide detailed, free advice to help you make informed decisions about managing your loans. The Institute of Student Loan Advisors Corporation (TISLA) was founded to ensure that all student loan borrowers have access to free, neutral, and clear student loan advice and dispute resolution assistance.
